What the integration does
QRKIT lets you build a lead-capture Form QR — a dynamic QR code that opens a short form when scanned. The HubSpot integration connects those forms to your HubSpot account so every submission becomes a HubSpot Contact, created or updated in real time.
Each contact is enriched with the context of the scan: which QR code was scanned and the coarse location and device derived from it. The sync is one-directional — QRKIT writes to HubSpot and never reads your CRM data back.
Setup takes about a minute. You connect once with a single click via OAuth, and QRKIT automatically creates the custom contact properties it needs in your portal — there is nothing to configure by hand.
Plan availability
The HubSpot integration is a paid feature. It is included on every paid QRKIT plan (Pro, Ultra, and Agency). Free and Starter plans can build a Form QR, but lead sync to HubSpot is paused until you upgrade.
You can compare plans to see the full feature breakdown.
Connect HubSpot
Open Dashboard → Integrations, then:
- Click “Connect HubSpot.”You're sent to HubSpot to choose the account to connect.
- Review and approve the permissions. QRKIT requests only what it needs to create contacts and the properties that store scan context — nothing more.
- You're returned to the Integrations pagewith the connection marked active. That's it — new form submissions now sync.
One HubSpot account connects per QRKIT workspace. If you manage several workspaces, connect each one separately.
Create a lead-capture Form QR
From your dashboard, create a new QR code and choose the Form (lead-capture) type. Add the fields you want to collect — a name, an email, a phone number, or any custom question.
- Include an email field.HubSpot matches contacts by email, so a form without one can't create a contact.
- Mark required fields. Required fields are enforced before the form can be submitted.
- Publish and download the QR. Every scan opens your form; every submission syncs to the connected HubSpot account.
Because it's a dynamic QR code, you can edit the form later without reprinting — the same code keeps working.
What syncs to HubSpot
When a lead submits the form, QRKIT upserts a HubSpot Contact (matched by email) and sets:
- Standard contact fields from the form — for example first name, last name, email, and phone.
- Scan context in dedicated QRKIT properties: QRKIT QR Code, Last Scan Country, Last Scan City, and Device.
- Your custom form fields, stored as QRKIT contact properties that QRKIT creates automatically the first time they appear.
The QRKIT properties live in the standard Contact Information group, so you can use them in HubSpot lists, workflows, and reports like any other property.
What stays private
QRKIT shares only what the contact needs to be useful. The scan context is deliberately coarse, and sensitive scan signals are never sent to HubSpot:
- No IP address. The visitor's IP is never transmitted.
- No precise location. Only a derived city and country — never GPS coordinates or postal-level precision.
- No raw device fingerprint.A simple device type (for example “Mobile” or “Desktop”), not the full user-agent string.
The lead's own form answers are the data they chose to give you; the scan context is limited to the short allowlist above.
Disconnecting
Open Dashboard → Integrations and choose Disconnect. QRKIT revokes its access and stops syncing new submissions. Contacts already in HubSpot stay there — disconnecting never deletes data from your CRM.
You can reconnect at any time; syncing resumes for submissions that arrive after you reconnect.
Troubleshooting
A lead didn't appear in HubSpot
Confirm the connection is active on the Integrations page and your plan is a paid one — sync is paused on Free and Starter. Make sure the form includes an email field, since HubSpot needs it to create a contact. Sync is processed in the background, so allow a short delay before a new lead shows up.
The connection shows an error
If HubSpot access was revoked from the HubSpot side, the Integrations page flags it. Reconnect from Dashboard → Integrations to restore syncing.
A property is missing in HubSpot
QRKIT creates its properties automatically on the first lead that uses them. If you connected before this was enabled, reconnect once so QRKIT can finish provisioning.
Frequently asked questions
Does it sync leads I captured before connecting?
No. Syncing applies to submissions that arrive after the connection is active.
Is my visitors' scan or IP data shared?
No. QRKIT sends only a coarse city, country, and device type. IP addresses, precise location, and raw device strings are never shared with HubSpot.
Can I capture custom fields?
Yes. Any custom field on your form is stored as a QRKIT contact property, created automatically the first time it's used.
Can I connect more than one HubSpot account?
One HubSpot account connects per QRKIT workspace. Use a separate workspace for each account you want to sync.
Ready to send leads straight to HubSpot?
Connect HubSpot in Dashboard → Integrations, then publish a lead-capture Form QR — every scan that converts lands in your CRM.
